Here at the Fire Place we know that our children are the future of the church.  Every night of Awana, kids will play games together, work through their handbooks with a leader, and have Bible lessons and activities that focus on Jesus. The Awana program will teach kids that when they are faced with adversity they know how to handle those everyday situations, based on the Word of God.  They learn who God is, who they are in Christ, how important it is to know God on a personal level, and what God thinks of them.  The Fire Place Kids/Awana make sure each child has a firm foundation of the Word, so that they can have unwavering faith, that no matter what they face in life, that they know God is faithful.  Kids also begin seeking what their purpose is in life, based on their talents and strengths God has equipped each child with.  We make sure your child knows that they are loved, they are set apart, and that they matter.  Kids so much want to belong to something greater…and Awana does just that.  So, no matter if a child has been raised in church all their life or they are hearing the gospel for the first time, all children have a sense of belonging and that they have a great destiny ahead of them.
